For my master’s degree at Istituto Marangoni, I had the opportunity to serve as the editor-in-chief of Vanguard, a magazine project that delves into the duality of glamour and grit in fashion. Vanguard was conceived as a publication that not only showcases the beauty and innovation of the industry but also sheds light on the effort, resilience, and authenticity that drive it forward.

Our debut edition, The Power Issue, centered on the theme of strength and influence, celebrating individuals who are redefining fashion through their creativity, determination, and impact. From emerging designers and industry veterans to cultural tastemakers and behind-the-scenes visionaries, we highlighted the diverse forces shaping contemporary fashion. Through in-depth features, thought-provoking editorials, and striking visuals, we aimed to challenge traditional narratives and present a more nuanced perspective on power in fashion today.

As editor-in-chief, I oversaw the magazine’s editorial direction, ensuring that each piece aligned with our core vision. I collaborated closely with writers, designers, and photographers to craft compelling content that resonated with our audience of young, ambitious women eager to make their mark in the industry. Leading this project not only honed my editorial and leadership skills but also reinforced my passion for storytelling and the intersection of fashion, culture, and empowerment.
